It still crashes after i skip the intro movie, doesnt matter what d3d9 i use .
EDIT: I found out an interesting thing, if i use a d3d9 and run SH3 through my steam libary it crashes after the intro movie but if i run it by an shortcut what is linked to the same .exe like the steam "Play" button it doesnt crashes , what is this? My desktop res matches with the one in the d3d9 . When i delete the d3d9 files it doesnt crash. I dont know what to do to fix this
Never had this before ....
Need help.

Sorry that is the case, I don't use a fix, I set my 22" monitor screen to auto mode and haven't any noticeable stretching.

that is one of the quirks to steam. generally of all my modded steam games (especially sins of a solar empire) It can have crashes in game after certain events are executed from the mod.
Never devoted to much time to figuring it out only know that launching from desktop prevents some crashes.

So its unfixable? But before it
worked for me , after reinstallation i still have the same problem:shifty:
I dont know how i caused this problem, because in past it worked for me with the sa,e installation folder.

It takes a little getting used to, but you can play with the default settings.
Or put it to something closer but not exactly your resolution.
Default res is something like 1024x760 I think.
You can put it to 1284x1024.
Worked for me.
