Hello everyone
Please could help me with this mod. I'm trying to design a mod detection minefields by asdic. But ASDIC detects mines erroneous positions. There is a test mission in multiplayer.

Could you make the same thing for a single player mission ... many here do not use the multi-player function of the game.

World War 2 submarines did not have any type of Mine and Obstacle Avoidance Sonar (MOAS).

The ASDIC on board a fleet boat would certainly give away their position so they used it rarely and mostly for soundings for chart updates.

World War 2 Fleet boats were used for mine detection ahead of incoming Task Forces along with minesweepers. The game does not model the ability for the ASDIC to detect mines as they did in real life.

You need to determine if the mines in the game give off any sensor settings. I can only pick them up visually but I can not detect them using active sonar.

I've only known that i've entered a minefield by two methods. Method one is me raising the periscope after picking up a ship with the hydrophones and noticing a mine as it rises. Method two is me sailing along merrily on my way when I hit one, it explodes and more often then not causes me to die.

The active sonar should pick them up but it does not model that in the game.
