But I finally got sh4 to work in windows 8...Thanks to the help from the modders...Started a new career from manila and on 1-9-42 I sank a 32000 ton Kongo class BB..Went back to manila for a reload,awarded a a Silver Star ..:nope:.Game crashed...Restarted and once again went to same area spotted task force called in and sank a Kongo class BB...Evaded some rather ticked off rice eaters and headed for Linguan gulf...Another task force,when the smoke cleared they were light by a Heavy Cruiser and a Kongo class BB...Off to manila for resupply...I was awarded the Bronze Star...Just doesn't make sense..:o

Running sh4 with tmo 2.5...I would play the german side but I just don't feel right killing Americans...

I know what you mean. I played SH3 a little before SH4 came out, but I prefer to be one of the good guys. :)
