Hi all.

I have a weird feeling that thermal layers are present too often in SH3commander. So I wanted to disable that feature. Now I opened Randomised events.cfg of SH3commander and deleted the part of it where it says:

;----------------------------------------------------------------------------------THERMAL LAYERS
[0:data\Library\AI_Sensors.dat]
;Randomly adjusts active/passive listening device values to simulate the impact of thermal layers - by Hemisent
;Only MinHeight values are changed

Saved it and replaced. Will this help to get rid of thermal layers to me ?

Yes. That will do it.

Alternatively, you could put a semicolon in front of each line.

You can also change the probability by changing the "ChooseFrom=10" line. Currently on average in 5 (0_...4_) of ten cases you will have a thermal layer (50% chance). If you choose "ChooseFrom=100" it would only be in 5% of cases.

Thank you both for replies, I will have that in mind what to do if I miss just a tiny little chance of thermal layers occasions
