does the RADAR for u-boats works in sh4 ?

the question is if the radar is fuctional in u-boat missions.
if yes, can someone point me to a tutorial or a mod about it ?


ps: don't get confused with the radar in sh4 pacific where Nisgeis made a superb work-mod ! i am looking for a fuctional radar for u-boats and so far i can't see if it has any use at all

Sure, both a-scope and PPI work well in sh4. If not, it is caused by insect vites.

eh guys, is there anyone using the radar successfully in u-boats ? and if yes...how?

It does work but it's more for picking up planes then ships.

how do you use it in order to get range and bearing of the plane ?

at us subs , i can see it working and be fuctional (getting range and bearing of target) but how can i get these data from the u-boat radar ?
