Hi,
I have been experiencing a problem trying to run Trevally's tutorials.
In particular the TDC tutorial. It seems to stop right after telling you to raise your scope fully. The "next" arrow is then disabled.
I am using TDW's UI's.
Anyone have an idea as to what I am doing wrong?

When I made these tutorials - TDW's UI was at an early stage.
Updates to his UI include auto hiding of some icons/dials are using minimum dials torp box etc.
The tutorials themselves try to keep pace with the user by waiting for actions before giving the next stage (removal of the next arrow is to ensure the users clicks at a part of the screen).
So to make sure you have all dials buttons etc visible and you would then see an orange outline flash at the button needed to be clicked.
In your case this sounds like the raise scope button (do not use keys)
If this is not the case - run C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5\data\Applications\dbgview.exe as you do the tutorial and paste the report here:up:

Thanks for your reply. I think that when I ran the tutorial the first few times I raised the scope the wrong way (shown in the screenshot). When I ran it using the other way raising the scope with the “raise the scope fully” control, it ran. The game did crash to desktop later, but I don’t think it had anything to do with the tutorial, more likely is my mod list, possibly not being a good mix or maybe improper order.
One thing that does puzzle me is why I do not see the conversion table chart in the screen shot.
It’s no big deal as I did print one out from the screen shot ,so I have a hard copy I can use, it’s just is one of those little mysteries I would like to figure out.
I did finally run the tutorial all the way through, and I must say it was a real eye opener! Thanks so much for that learning aid. I am looking forward to viewing more of your tutorials, as well as that same one over a bunch of times. I am the type that needs repetition.
I would post my debug file but it’s too big to upload as an attachment. I don’t think there is a problem with the tutorial though. I guess I could just copy and paste it to a reply if you really want to see it.
I also have included my mod list it may be flawed. (Probably is) feel free to comment on it.
