hello all captains....i like to thank you alot in advance for this helping community and because im gonna be annoying in these questions...

first i really like sh5 in the way it offers sub interiors and graphics in general
so the problem is as u all expected my questions will be

how to make this mod playyable..u understand me
if i get v1.0 what offfical patches should i get ( with links if possible )
and what are the mods to use


an example...if someone comes asking me what mods to get to make sh4 unbelievable
i would say for ATO dont leave port without OM+OMEGU
and PTO TMO+RSRD



so i went to download section and found the most downloaded never changes which is mighty crew fix and open horizons II and other sh5 mods...so what other thingsshould i get to make it enjoyable and other minor mods like ones that make sh3 and sh4 fantastic specially that there is know menu bar in sh5 like u used to have in sh4.....i think u guys have the picture already

There are not mega-mods for SH5 yet..
You have to read a lot to make your game playable and enjoyable..

thanks alot really liked what u shared....but what if i want the normal tdc input in stock...and dont like all the gauges in new interfaces...is there any interface changes to officers commands and menu bar without messing with stock solution...i do my own simple calculations and other tdc mods are hard for me.....even in sh4 i use omegu eye cand but never the kazamarov tdc

If you want to use SH3 or SH4 stile in game you have to use NewUIs with TDC by TheDarkWraith.. there is no other way..

EDIT: just try it.. there are no such hard moments..

There are a lot settings and options in NewUIs.. you have to use OptionsFileEditorViewer to set.. it's located in NewUIs/data/Applications.. and 'How to' by Trevally - http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=202346

If you are using my UIs mod you can either set the option for it to be disabled at game start or you can disable it in game by ensuring no buttons are pressed on the Torpdoes panel's TDC Mode

Yes SH3/4 HUDs are available in my UIs mod but I strongly suggest playing with the SH5 Enhanced hud.

There's nothing wrong with SH3 style or SH4 style (besides known problems of some of the buttons). The game was designed around the SH5 style. Once you get familiar with the SH5 style you will not like the others anymore :yep: Change is good (in this case).

ur right in that point like changing to sh4 after playing sh3...andyway il lstart with the1.02 patch ur mod...and some of the most downloaded files in downloads sections..thanks alot guys

I agree, I prefer and play this SH5 simulator with the new SH5 interface, but I understand that is good to have many UI choices to fit our own taste

The Generic Patcher is a patcher application. It's used to replace code in a file with other code (or even add additional new code to the file).

The Generic Patcher has patches available for SH5. One of those patches fixes the broken hydrophone.

believe me im not trying to but theirs 100s of downloads....i can get the best based on recommendations...the pages list many mods makes me go crazy...thanks alot
