I'm trying to find out if anyone knows what the various names of dat files actually depict ingame.
Case in point:
When in data\library for example, the '4_of_ap_N dat file appears.
Now when you open that dat file it's plain obvious that it's an NPC of the game that shows a number of attributes.
What i am not clear on is what unit exactly does this depict in the game?
In that file for example, ofitzer appears, fanfara boy appears, these names appear in other dat files for example as well, so am i to asume that those 2 names for example share the same model?
My question is, is there a simple way to translate these names and actually know what they are ingame?
Can i ask why there was a mix of different languages used when naming dat files and some of their content?
:hmmm:
I'd like to know what i'm modding before testing it ingame :)
