Help me !

The game doesn't want to start up all of a sudden.
The launcher doesn't come up I see the lights on the PC working the drive but
after a short time they stop.
Can anybody give me a clue.
I have reinstalled it 5 times from my disk.

I am running XP 4 gigs mem XFX 8800 GT graphics card
Core 2 Duo E6600 2.40 GHz, 4MB L2 Cach, 1066 MHz FSB

Just idea:

run Uplay and set into "online" mode if you had in offline mode. Change again after success.

2. Use taskmaster (windows) to view processes. I have found, in the case of hung loading, halting the launcher and other sh5 related processes...and then try relaunch game. I think processes hang and then block further load efforts.

3. I had to re-purchase the game when they updated Uplay. It lost all my game references. Check in uplay if the game is listed in "my games". If not, that is why it won't load.
If so, I'd say the issue is with the version of Uplay that you have. It seems to update itself every load now and can see my games. I had to download SH4 again, same issues.
