Practically, you'll need to talk to HSie or TDW... otherwise AFAIK not possible.
BUT I don't know everything :D

thats what i was afraid of... was hoping to add a fun torpedo instead of changing the stats of 1 torpedo to suit what i wish to do. was kinda hoping to add a torpedo that would be "atomic" and capable of wiping out a convoy in 1 blow you know for those times when you just want to blow tommies up.

interestingly for me, with SH3, while there is a certain exhilaration of locating a ship or convoy, tracking and chasing her down, and finally setting up a good shot, i also find the actual torpedo impact to be a little bittersweet and sad even, watching her go under...perhaps similar to how Uboat captains must have felt. Consider the firely scene from Das Boot, where they hit that tanker, it was horrible for everyone....they just snuck away with out a word.

Dont get me wrong its a great feeling getting a hit, especially a one shot kill, its just that it makes you think about it a bit, and that's something special about SH3

There is a mod that does this (changes the damage amount) but it's for all torps that you fire, and not selective.

yeah i have it already (actually made my own mod ) i think it would just be nice to have a special torpedo and keep the others realistic.
