Problem with "Save and Exit": Campaigns files lost

Dear Kaleuns:

In my SH3 GWX installation I have a little problem with the "Save and Exit" option. When I save a campaign, with that function, after the automatic exit to main menu I try to reload the game in progress and the list of saved campaign files ("In Mission", etc) turns to a blank page - no files. With only "Save" and "exit mission", no problems. But only with "Save and exit", the problem is there. I can live with this problem (I use "save"), but I would to correct it.

I use the Hsie and the Stiebler´s modification, and I think there is a problem with these mods.

Any suggestion will be welcomed.

Has a long history of being buggy. I always save, then exit. If I need to take the extra step to eliminate the "Dead" file so SH3 Commander can work, then so be it. :sunny:

(Sometimes, on first patrols in September 1939, you won't see the save game in the game menu. If you look in your save folder, it will still be there. Then you just copy it over and launch. It will be fine. But that is a unique case.)

Ever I save, and then exit. But previous to the installation of Hsie and Stiebler´s mods, I don´t remember problems with "save and exit".

Hello!

I had the same problem not so long ago. I had a career profile with a Typ VII, but then I wanted to start a career with the Typ IX. But everytime I pressed "Save and Exit" my Typ IX career was gone......... But the career folder (MyDocuments/SH3) was still there (with all the savings).

So I decided to delete the Typ VII career, and now saving works!!

I am using SH3 Commander for GWX3, but not the Hsie and the Stiebler´s modification.
