View Full Version : GWX ships in the air

Just downloaded GWX3.0 and Im really enjoying it, but there's a problem:
ships in the long range seem to float in the air, a little bit above the waterline. in my stock SH3 version everything is fine. Then i disabled other mods and no change. Anyone has any idea what's going on?
It's a vanilla problem.
Simply the way the distance is rendered.
You could use one of the popular environment mods. Like this one http://www.subsim.com/radioroom//downloads.php?do=file&id=1452&act=down]
Or use the GWX16k mod that comes with the GWX3.0. It will increase the view-distance and alleviate the 'floating on air problem'.

I enable the 16km option and those "spaceships" are gone. I bought SH3 years ago and finding this great forum makes me play it again, with all these fabulous mods im having a brand new experience. It's time to go back hunting!:D

Be sure to use SH3CMDR and install the GW3 Gold CMDR files.
