kiwi_2005...wishing you all the best. The outpouring of support for you at Subsim speaks volumes.
A few years ago, a young very close friend was diagnosed with cancer and passed away in 7 months. Another friend of mine shared those final days and watched helplessly. A few weeks after the funeral, my other friend "didn't feel right" and went to see his doctor. He was diagnosed with cancer. He passed away 5 months later. I was shocked.
The point I'm trying to make is none of us are guaranteed any time on this earth and can be taken away on any given day. We should cherish every day as if it was our last.
"There but for the grace of God, goes I."

The back ground here is when Jesus showed up at
Lazarus's funeral (4 days after his death) and he
is being confronted by Lazarus's sister and
after words Jesus rose Lazarus from the grave.
John 11:23-26
Jesus said to her, "Your brother will rise again."
Martha said to him, I know that he will rise again
in the resurrection on the last day.
Jesus said to her,
"I am the resurrection and the life.
Whoever believes in me, though he die,
yet shall he live, and everyone who lives
and believes in me shall never die.
Do you believe this?"
As you can see Jesus is very direct with his
question. A question I can answer yes. Can you?

A bit of Northern humor Jim?:D If Kiwi doesn't start getting better, you and I will go down there and do our version of a haka, lol If nothing else, he'll get a good laugh out of it, which he could probably use right now!
You & your family are in my thoughts, and prayers. Wishing the best for you sir.
