Hi :salute:

It's about those little ghost contacts when you draw your navigation line...
I'm using TDW_No_Contact_Colors_1_1_0 TDW_No_Contact_Tails_1_1_0 and TDW_Waypoint_Contacts_No_Color_1_1_0, but is there a way to completely delete them ingame?

Why not use real navigation, it is easy to take bearings to targets and game is much more fun.:smug:

You're right, and i have to dive in it someday! :D

But for now, i started a career this way to make my hand on main game features, and don't want to start all over again at the moment :nope:

I do not think that you have to start again. Did that many times so i knew what are you saying:D Just enable real nav and disable that addons you use now. ( and that menu.txt copy thing ):salute:

Trevally.

So, just for a remind, i have to enable real nav via the TDW generic patcher, then via the TDW file viewer, activate NewUIs_TDC_7_2_0_Real_Navigation, and that's all?
(i recall reading a change somewhere else :hmmm:)

Install these mods
NewUIs_ByTheDarkWraith
NewUIs_TDC_Real_Navigation
Trevally Automated Scripts v0.6
Trevally Harbour & Kiel Canal Pilot v2.9

Also this is handy so the game drops to 1TC when the navigator gives you a map mark . You can then easily adjust your heading at 1tC
Use NewUIs_TDC_*_*_*_ByTheDarkWraith\data\Applications \OptionsFileEditorViewer
Message Box
TC1OnAnyMessageBoxText = True (you can turn it on and off via the hud whenever you want)

Also these settings help a lot
The save game folder is usually installed to your documents folder and is named SH5
The document that you want to adjust is found in
Documents\SH5\data\cfg\main
The first settings i adjust are the time compression settings .
Here is what i adjust them to.
You can copy and paste into your folder .

[TIME COMPRESSION]

TimeStop=0
RealTime=1
LandProximity=1,256
CriticalDamage=256
CrewEfficiency=128
AirEnemyDetected=1
SoundEffects=256
CharacterAnim=16
FriendDetected=1
EnemyDetected=1
RadioReport=256
Particles=16
PrayState=1
HunterState=1
3DRender=16
Maximum=256;512 You can use the Travel mode to cruise to your destination but you wont get any warnings like close to land etc
so be very careful using it . If you use real navigation and use travel mode then the game wont drop down
to 1TC when your sub is close to land (land proximity warning) .
The higher your TC is the longer the game takes to react to things like airplanes so if you play on 512 TC
instead of 256 that plane might be right on top of you before the game reacts and drops down to 1TC .

TDW_No_contact_shapes_or_colors_no_contact_line_1_ 1_0 - You can also try this one - that's better than Real Navigation if You want to see your boat on map. I'm using it with Real Navigation, and my map is absolutely clean:up:
