help how to create a sound mod

Can anybody share how to create a sound mod. I want to make a music mod for say the background music.

If you want to create background music it should be in *ogg format. You can use Audacity for save your music in *ogg, other sounds are in *wav files they are mostly in mono somes are in stereo.

I hope this will help you.

1. Choose the song or theme you want for menu backround sound - I have the theme from "Das Boot".
Convert it to .ogg format and then rename it Menu_Master LOOP.ogg
Be extra careful with the spelling

2. Copy and paste the file to : sh3/data/sound/music.
Overwrite the original file.
ALWAYS keep a back up if something goes wrong.

3. Start SH3. Now you will hear your favorite theme.

thanks i was going to be a smart alack and put a soviet Russian red army song for giggles... was thinking of the one from Hunt for Red October. :P
