I've decided to make this thread because a lot of mods I want are no longer able to be downloaded meaning that if you click on the link the website it links you to says it no exists. I propose a rule stating that every 6 months or so mod uploaders need to be sure their mods are still available

great rule for those using mods but very insulting to modders, now modders will have less incentive to share a mod so they dont have to hear complaints over dead links and threads like this wanting to make demands and requirements on them.

if you need a mod then create a thread asking someone to post a working link for that mod for you or upload the mod to subsim download section but you cant require or demand anything thats freely created, given, shared, and uploaded free for download.

stop thinking all about the selfish side of using mods and consider the long hours of hard work needed to create mods and that modders like everyone else have other things to do besides being commited to forever maintaining working links for their mods.

Or ask in the original thread itself... I've lost count how many times helpful members have posted fresh links so that others can also enjoy great mods.
