Something daft and funny happened recently on a patrol although at the time it was frustrating. I just happened to be near the area where the Bismarck was attacked and sunk by the British. I thought great I am going to change history and change the course of the war. I was cruising a bit ahead of the Bismarck on her port side. Damn she is fast. The British ships closed in , I did my calculations to try and hit them. Hard to do seeing that they are damn fast as well. I fired off three torpedoes at the first British ship hoping I would hit her.
Bam, bam, bam they’re off. I wait and wait check to see where the torpedoes are and I see two of them slam into the Bismarck. I did not change the torpedo solution from a ship I a few days before.
Well I suppose this captain should not steer home as not to get publicly hanged.

not the british cruisers not germans scuttling it but a U-Boat hitting it with 2 torpedos:har:
