Request "Water Drops Blur Effect MaGUI v3.4 Widescreen Compat"

Hi, mates:

I´m searching a mod called "Water Drops Blur Effect MaGUI v3.4 Widescreen Compat". I see this mod in the Aces JSGME list, in the New Compartments thread: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=198732

Aces think the mod is an optional of MaGUI 3.4 Widescreen, by Makman, but I haven´t that in my WS MaGUI optionals.

anvar, try this, just add it to the end of your mods, you will be prompted to overwrite cameras.dat, say yes.

obs scope
periscope
deck gun
Uzo
Free cam (conning)

Hi chaps,

Gamefront can be cery flakey, I use both Gamefront and Mediafire as mirrors and Medifire and, IMHO, the later is by far the most reliable.

The problem is in cameras.dat file. Non WS uses a diverse file than WS version.

I'll upload this mod to my mediafire account so that anyone interested can have a look and see if it works for them. I simply cannot remember if it was something that I put together or something that I downloaded, getting senile in my old age :).

...but there is a Brett25 cameras for non WS installations. Not for MaGUI, but it must be tried...

I tried the mod (MaGUI WS). The blur effect is "onmipresent": with 0 o 4 mtrs. wind, I see the boat with blur, many blur. Is this the intended effect or there is some wrong with the mod?.

I think the mod only works with high winds.

Urm, I can't remember how it was supposed to function, better asking someone that actually plays the game :). I really don't think that I had any hand in this mod, as a matter of routine I always put "Aces" in front of any of my mods,can't remember where I got it from though, does it have a readme?. My only guess is that I may have put it together for my own use on information posted in a Subsim posting?.

Actually, thinking about your question, it should only work in rough seas/when the wind speed is high that is how it is designed.
