So damn true...thank you for posting. I miss that welcome home when I get home from work. I still get a greeting from the cats, but that's more "Oh, hi, you again? You gonna feed me or let me out? No? Screw you then."

The only difference between this and my experience is that my dogs don't hump everything.
Yes, they're female. They substitute licking for humping.
