On my way home ,late Jan 42, detected enemy aircraft on radar dived to periscope depth. Aircraft saw me, bombed me, no damage. It then dived down into the water in suicide dive, colided UNDER WATER! with my sub causing extensive damage and casualties. Sub was at 65ft depth at the time I was very lucky to survive. Aircraft was a Betty and destroyed itself but not credited to me. Is this supposed to happen in RFB 2.0? G5.

I believe this is just the way aircraft behave in the game. I don't think this was intended. It is kind of like the way destroyers can sometimes blow themselves up with their depth charges.

However, it is not impossible for such a thing to happen. The Axis sub, U-505 was attacked by an Allied a/c which dived low dropping depth charges, and was itself destroyed by the explosion that occured when one hit the boat's deck.

Perhaps someone knows why this occurs.

no, something must have been changed with the planes in RFB to make them not see the water and that could make them look and act like kamakazi

the planes dont normally fly into the water in the game
