Hey guys, I was browsing around on Wikipedia and found a few ships that some of you enterprising modders might want to try and create (as my modding skill is well, zero).

You might recognize this ship from Battlestations Midway. These ships were sort of the Japanese equivalent of the American LST. They started using these later in the war as high-speed transports, as by this point in the war the opportunity to make an amphibious invasion on Allied held territory was pretty much gone. Wikipedia says almost 70 of these were built.

An earlier Japanese attempt at this concept also. The Wikipedia article on this isn't that great but they were basically used in the same role as the No. 101 boats.

About 20 of these boats here were built. They were similar to the American APD design (taking old destroyers and modifying them to carry landing craft).
Let me know what y'all think!:)
