A.I.M tried recruiting members in our res (Red Lake) back in the 80's and they were met at the edge of the res by our Tribal Leader Roger Jordain and others. Roger was shot in the leg when he refused to let them in, several arrests were made and A.I.M never came back!:D

They escorted our PT boat in:salute:. They had a guy there who was working to preserve and teach their language. The language itself sounds like klingon but it was neat to see the big grammar and dictionary they had of the their languages. The Pacific Northwest tribes were pretty wealthy, due to the fish and fur trade.
