I'll ask again: What do you think of the use of Third Reich military symbols by people on this website, and by the playing of games where the object is to kill Allied troops and sailors? Are they promoting Hitler's Nazi state or are they observing a historical occurence?
You were just complaining that no one ever 'debates you straight up'. Well, you have me doing just that, but you constantly change the subject. You provided no answer to my post regarding currency devaluation, and you seem intent on doing the same here.
Dissect his answer:
I play sh3 and fly the FW 190 in IL2 at hyperlobby but of course I shower afterwards
He does not approve 100% and finds some disgust in it hence the shower to wash the filth of the Reich when finished playing SH3 and flying a FW190.
then I play sh4 and get a good nights sleep
Seems to be ok with the American side of things. Good night sleep after playing SH4.
I don't know what to make of the rest of it. Not much of a discussion/answer either. :88)

I don't find any thing wrong with this website it is pretty historical and why do you find the need to add more to the the first question,,?? do you put your kids in these symbols and parade them around ??? ,, and why can't these schools be promoting American Occurences,, and why do you hate America and what it stands for ???? Was the music teacher observing a histoical occurence which was in pretty bad taste or was he promoting his own agenda or the governments since the schools get government money...?????? Guess what I got too take another shower. So did you ever answer my question about De value ing our money I didn't scroll back. I don't find any thing wrong with this website it is pretty historical and why do you need to add more to the the first question,,??
Because you miss the point.
So, if Jim is not promoting Mein Kampf by his display of the the U-boot Kriegsabzeichen, then perhaps this director is not promoting Soviet Socialism.
do you put your kids in these symbols and parade them around ??? ,, and why can't these schools be promoting American Occurences,,
What if the school put on a production of Les Miserables? In regard to American occurences, from your own article:
Besides, she explained, “in 2008 we did an entire show on freedom.”
and why do you hate America and what it stands for ????
Where did I indicate that that I hate America? Stop trying to change the subject.
Was the music teacher observing a histoical occurence which was in pretty bad taste or promoting his own agenda..??????
If he was putting on the show, I would say that he was observing a historical occurence. If he was putting on a show and distributing copies of the Communist Manifesto, then I'd say he was promoting an agenda. Do you have any proof that he was doing the latter?
Guess what I got too take another shower. So did you ever answer my question about De value ing our money I didn't scroll back.
And there is your problem. You never respond. You always try to change the subject when challenged. That's why you posted this whole school band thing in the first place. You are right, yubba: No one can fight you straight up. But that is because you are always running away.
I didn't miss any point, you got my answer and you didn't like it. This is a website of history and simuilations, and like I said I don't have a problem with it but, in light of our public school system I bet most of those kids didn't know what really happened in the russian revolution and if they didn't know they were un wittingly used, hell I bet half of them can't find their way home on their own ,,..So what are they teaching kids now a days it certainly is not american history,,.???. maybe it's capitalism you got a problem with. Refresh my memory,, what did you have to say about the reason for {de value ing } our money ????? So what am I promoting when I slam a zero into the side of an american carrier,,or when I blast the living hell out a B17 with a long nose fw 190 ??????

Or play a song. Or display a symbol. See where we're going with this? Your game is not trying to indoctrinate you. And neither is a marching band field show.
What would you say about a website that contains Third Reich military symbols and music while playing games that center around sinking Allied warships?
Here is your orginal question. I answered it, you didn't like what I said,, true or false ??
Then you started to add to it,, True or False ??? ,,
So explain how the same question of one sentence grew to half a page.

Yes. Unless there is the dissemination of material, then there is no indoctrination. A cigar is, thus, just a cigar. Otherwise, playing the 1812 Overture becomes a celebration of Tzarist Russia and Les Miserables becomes an ode to the violence of the French Revolution.

And I agree with those sentiments. While I don't feel that there was indoctrination taking place, I would not have included all of the symbols of the Soviet Union. Much like the way that the swastika is muted with the more honorable Iron Cross in our simulations, one can mute the Hammer and Sickle with the Red Star and still achieve effect.
Not having seen the field show, nor being familiar with the teacher and the program, I can't say if the history of the Bolshevik Revolution was covered. I would hope it was, but if I remember my days of running a marching band program, most of the details of what the show is 'about' gets lots in the day-to-day details of rehearsal. Les Miserables was our theme one year, and to my shame I don't think that we ever really covered the show itself nor the book that it was based upon. It ended up just being music that we played; pretty much devoid of context and meaning. A failing on my part more than anything, but the climate of band competitions in Pennsylvania tends to force one to concentrate more on scoring and results than actual education. This was a big reason for my leaving high school education.
I'm sure there were at least scripts written for this abortion.
I agree with the parents. Whoever came up with this idea ought not to be teaching our children. At very least someone ought to educate the children on the very bloody history behind what they were singing and dancing about.

Ask Led Zep how well those things fly. ;)
Stories vary, but basically Keith Moon told Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones that their new project would go over like a lead balloon, hence, Led Zeppelin. The 'Led' spelling was to make sure people pronounced the name right.

I presume that marching bands also do mock massacres for the American revolutionary war? Or do they leave Gnadenhutten out? Does an actor playing Cornstalk come in during the piece and get murdered whilst on a diplomatic mission? Those hung in Philadelphia when the American forces recaptured it, like John Roberts III, are they represented too?
No? :hmmm:
I hardly know about that and I know kids today couldn't even tell us if we ever had a revolution and I bet they couldn't say with who. The town of Horseheads is pretty close to my home town and Painted Post is closer in Stueben County but not Horseheads that's in Chemung County. Heck Oberon that was over 200 years ago and you are still holding a grudge..

But in defense of the educrats, superintendent for the Conewago Valley School District Rebecca Harbaugh says they once put on a show celebrating freedom. I guess these will be the shows that we will see in the re-education camps.

A state senator from New York City more like he showed up in the hopes of getting votes and then realized that he was going to loose votes if he stayed. He lacked the nerve to say why he left as well and that makes his action meaningless maybe he had very bad diarrhea or the sudden urge to convert to Islam he said that he was very upset but not what had upset him for all we know
he may have converted to their cause.

Here's a free civics lesson for ya,,, governments don't have rights, they have powers granted to them by their individual citizens. Individuals have pre-existing rights that do not come from governments, but should be respected by them nonetheless. I got this piece out of a article from the American Rifleman mag Oct 2012. He said it was not humans place to judge it, and let god/allah do the judging.
True muslims want peace, hardcores look to the jihad passages, and ignore the peace and love that the quran has.
I am not a sympathizer by no means, but do not lump one into all.
Especially not based on press propaganda, that has taught us to hate them, to justify us getting our liberties taken away with the Patriot Act.

They both got major issues Yubba, It is just in my opinion Obama will be less destructive than the other.
The 47%, and his Bain capital thing killed it for me.
I am content with an apologist who is not dangerous, and consistent, than a guy who made all his money from outsourcing, and dismantling companies, who flops depending on who he is talking to.
May the people speak, thats what makes us great, is despite the money in politics, it still comes down to us.
I've worked the docks at Port Canaveral for 10 years I've made freinds from all over the world, all colors and cultures I don't have a problem with any,, except for the ones that want to kill me because I don't believe what they believe which I haven't met yet well maybe that x ole lady of mine,, I would have never thought that it would be my own country men that I would have too worry about.
What, less destructive than the last 4 years, well I guess if you have already broke every plate in the cabinet, and you can't break any more, I guess that would make you less destructive. The government done all the outsourcing and dismantling of companies through higher and higher taxes and regulations, I come from Corning New York,, most of my family worked Corning glass or Taylor wine, most of corning glass is now in mexico and taylor wine is closed, state cooperate taxes, fees, and regs, were the culprits,, Romney had nothing to do with that,, the government has destroyed more jobs than it has ever created, what good is clean air and clean water if you are straving or freezing to death,,,..Speaking of freezing,, 200 coal fire plants are closing in the the north east in the next couple of months and guess what Romney has nothing to do with it,, and remember when your taxes go up Romney had nothing to do with that either.

It comes down to jealousy.
American Muslims see what we have, and see how we allow them free worship, and the right to speak against things in a peaceful way, and not be jailed. They also have thicker skin when someone draws Muhammed, because they know they have the same rights to draw Jesus sodomizing a donkey, or put a crucifix in a jar of urine, and not be tortured and killed.
Not saying they did such things, but we allow it.
Which their brethren back home cannot do, they are oppressed and use anger as thier release, where we use humor/shock here, because we are allowed to.
The muslim world really needs a sense of humor.

I should also point out the logical flaw in the assumption that everyone deserves what they earn. If there's no ethical restrictions on how to spend the money, why should there be any on how it's earned? After all, if it's theirs, who cares...

I dont think that they have to be an American Muslim in order to not be unreasonable we just hear about the bad ones on the news and therefore assume that they all feel they way if they come form X place. There are some very Zionist Jews in the US and Israel but most people do not assume that every Jew is a hard core Zionist or at least I don't.
There are good people and bad people everywhere the bad ones want you to see everyone of their kind the same way.
The thing that we forget in America is that we have freedom of the press and a huge amount of media sources to get information from.In some countries the government has the final say meaning anything that they see on TV or hear on the radio or read in a news paper it was approved by the government.
They dont fathom what that anyone can pump out what ever they want and our government doe not really care and has no desire to approve anything.
When the "crazy" ones hear about something another "crazy" has made they flip out because they assume that the US government surely must have sanctioned it.These people don't get any real education either so it should not be very surprising that they would trust a persons word especially if they are a religious leader.
I bet a pristine 1905 nickel that 99% of the guys protesting/rioting never even saw that movie and a good portion of them are also teenage and early 20's young men just looking for a reason to tear ass around they even said on the news that in Egypt they could hear the crowd yelling out football (soccer) chants.

Myself I read both the bible and the koran(a translated copy) during basic training mostly out boredom I found both to be both equally entertaining and contradictory and I already knew real right from wrong so they did not teach me anything there either.I think it is funny when people truly believe that a burning bush spoke to a man and Mohammad sounds like perhaps he was
maybe a paranoid sycophantic he wanted to strike down the heathens and their false idols yet then he wants to pray towards a freaking rock they did not have psychotropic drugs back then sadly anyway I'm sure that he meant well. Then you have the Jews and muslims in love with same rock only not the same one that has the bling ass box around it and you are not required to pray towards it but you are supposed to kill the other dude that loves it because your cousins or something so they put a bling ass golden dome on top of it.

I kinda chopped your post up. Pardon. Makes a good jumping off point.!
I agree most of them barely know what a TV is and did not see it, but were incited by local clerics. Using "suitable beliefs."
I also read the Quran, more out of curiosity, and see alot of passages related to Jihad, yet see alot of passages leading to judging people on their intentions.
They even acknowledge Jesus (esau) as a prophet, Abraham (IBRAHIM) is one of their biggest prophets, second only to Muhammad. Amazing they hate the Jews so much... They really are almost the same, except it is easier to become Muslim than jew.
Silly really, IMHO.
They are both semitic people.
As a religion Islam is not evil.
But the morons who do all the "interpreting" are stuck in the crusades.
Even Salahudin was tolerant (after he kicked our asses back to europe), and shared with the Christians. What is wrong with these guys?
I know, but I will spare you my rants.
My point of this post is that they are not evil people, as our government and media implies. (EDIT: more misguided, due to religious authorities dictating what goes, and doesn't)

Except that it is earned. Investing in the stock market involves financial risk. More than one fortune has been wiped out by bad or ill timed investments. It's also the same risk that people are taking when they invest their 401k and pension plan money. Same tax rate too. If Obama wants to raise the tax on the money Mitt and the so called 1% are making he's going to have to raise it on every Americans retirement fund investments as well. That'll go over well.

Lets not forget that the upstart company needs investors. The stock market is the tool used to keep account of what the individual invested. A company is built. Jobs created. Somehow working the stock market is a bad thing now? Lets see, MR company outsources and its a bad thing. If anyone else outsources its called a world economy. Painting a picture that MR is a pioneer in outsourcing is ridiculous. I wonder what it made Jobs look like with Apple's i-whatever manufactured in China? If I'm going to invest my money in The Little Giant Vacuum Company I would expect a return if the company does well. As August said, if you have a 401k you are in the markets. If you don't have a 401k or IRA I recommend you start one. Social Security is not enough to retire on.

Ok then if returns on investment are socially responsible allocations of capital as you say, then why do they need to be incentivized with a lower tax rate? If it's honest work to invest in the stock market and earn a return, why is that work not taxed at the same rate of the income someone earns building bridges or healing children or anything else? Why is capital valued more than labor when both are equally needed for an economy to function? And don't go there with the "job creators" stuff - consumer demand creates jobs, not some guy with money burning a hole in his pocket. No one creates a job that demand doesn't call for.
And while it's true that the average American has a stake in the capital markets, you're thinking too theoretically. Look at it practically: how can you argue that the rules don't disproportionately favor the top 1% or 10% or whoever who actually takes home the vast majority of investment income? Can't find the exact figure, but something like 90% of the investment income in this country goes to the top 10%.

Lower tax incentives to get people to invest and start retirement accounts. Tax deferred. Early withdrawal a higher tax rate. Capital gains from stocks taxed at thle individuals tax rate. Interest on home loans as a write off yearly and incentive to purchase a home. So you believe investing is not honest work. With the dishonest investors then where would companies like GE and Ford be? Who said capital is valued more than labor? Sounds like you did. Why should the bridge builder company be taxed more than the laborer who built the bridge? Because they are the fat cats living off someone's back? Fine, as the laborer, go take the risk and start your own company. When you become successful you make pay more taxes. It's your patriotic duty.
The rules don't favor everyone. Get over it. The responsibilities of the company owner and the worker are not equally shared. The top 10% took the risk. They should not be rewarded? The common worker has the same opportunities to become the top 10%. Take a risk.

Lower tax incentives to get people to invest and start retirement accounts. Tax deferred. Doesn't the fact that they're tax deferred provide the incentive?
So you believe investing is not honest work. Putting words in my mouth. Said no such thing.
Who said capital is valued more than labor? Sounds like you did The tax code did. Capital gains is taxed at a maximum of 15%. Earned income's top marginal tax rate is 35%. Since one is taxed more and one is taxed less, one is valued more and the other is valued less. I'll let you figure out which one's which.
Why should the bridge builder company be taxed more than the laborer who built the bridge? That's not the question. Don't mischaracterize the argument. The question is why should he be taxed less.
The rules don't favor everyone. Assuming you meant "anyone", the tax code would suggest otherwise.
Get over it. Touched a nerve?
The responsibilities of the company owner and the worker are not equally shared. To use your example - fat chance trying to use your money to build a bridge if you have no one to pour the concrete. Labor and capital are both needed equally to accomplish anything.
The common worker has the same opportunities to become the top 10%. Do they? Do we truly enjoy perfect social mobility?

You forgot one thing...everyone has the opportunity to invest and enjoy capital gains at a maximum of 15%. It does not matter if the income earner is at 35%. Want to save on that 35%? Try the tax deferred 401K. Invest in a company, America and your retirement. It is after all, called the land of opportunity.
Touched a nerve?
Sure did because you sit and moan about taxes/rate of taxation. As if somehow you and everyone else can not invest or enjoy tax deferred 401k programs. The stock market is for people like Gordon Gecko only? The opportunity is there for everyone as stated above. The next tax return you receive, invest it. Take the risk. You have to start somewhere.
To use your example - fat chance trying to use your money to build a bridge if you have no one to pour the concrete. Labor and capital are both needed equally to accomplish anything.
You are a funny guy. Most companies, if not all, started with the owner pouring his own damn concrete and busting his ass 24/7 to make it work. Many of these guys, even with numerous employees, still get their hands dirty. My boss does. My brother does with his company. My wife's cousin does with his construction company. The list goes on.
Today is my day off. I'm a 1% and a 10%. I work all week, pay my 35%. Defer some of the taxes investing in my 401K. I donated to Subsim so you and I can spare over taxes for the next 365 days. I'm going to enjoy my weekend enjoying something else though.
You edited this in and this is ok:
Do they? Do we truly enjoy perfect social mobility?

This here would imply you see it as dishonest. No, I was simply using your premise that investing is honest work to ask another question. If I found investment to be dishonest, then I would have to find another job.
Does the recent graduate who can't find a job and is buried under student loan debt? Does the day laborer who works three jobs to feed his family? Does the minimum wage worker? Are you telling me they're going to get the same practical benefits that Mitt Romney gets from a low capital gains rate? Again, stop thinking theoretically and idealistically, and start thinking practically - are these people going to have the same ability to invest sizable portions of their income into the stock and bond markets?
Sure did because you sit and moan about taxes/rate of taxation. As if somehow you and everyone else can not invest or enjoy tax deferred 401k programs. Many people work at jobs that don't offer a 401k. So, no, not everyone else can invest into tax deferred 401k programs. Not everyone has the disposable income available to invest in an IRA. Many people live paycheck to paycheck. I shouldn't have to tell you that.
The stock market is for people like Gordon Gecko only? The opportunity is there for everyone as stated above. Who gets the most benefit from a low capital gains rate? The guy with $100,000,000 invested in the stock market or the waitress who contributes $10 a payday to her IRA valued at $1000?
You are a funny guy. Most companies, if not all, started with the owner pouring his own damn concrete and busting his ass 24/7 to make it work. You're missing the point - if you are poor, you are most likely going to stay poor. If you are rich, you are more likely to stay rich.
If it's honest work to invest in the stock market and earn a return, why is that work not taxed at the same rate of the income someone earns building bridges or healing children or anything else?.
Because it'd amount to double taxation on the money. Dividends are paid by corporate profits and those are already taxed before the corporation hands it to the investor.

Again, stop thinking theoretically and idealistically, and start thinking practically - are these people going to have the same ability to invest sizable portions of their income into the stock and bond markets?
The recent graduate has 10 years to pay off the student loan. The recent graduate took a risk and obtained the loan. The recent graduate understands what the economy is like. I would assume you believe the recent graduate is somehow the victim how?
I was a minimum wage earner. I worked my way up. Are you one of those that expect $250k as soon as you graduate anything?
I don't think theoretically. I lived it. I did my days of dumping trash, fixing cars, cutting grass, night security jobs, working two jobs to support a family. Where does the theoretically come in??? I purchased my first home. It was a condo. Sold that for a single family home. I have this one sold now as of today and just finished looking at my next home. So yes, a lowly maintenance man at the pool can have social mobility.
And lastly...who said you need a sizable portion to invest. Look at a CD. You do not need a job to offer a 401k program. These you can start yourself. As well as a IRA. Don't need much. Take you tax return and invest it. SAVE some money. Drink the Bud Light like you do instead of the expensive crap you will only pee out anyway. Drive the beater and not the new 2013 Camaro. It's called sacrifice.
Many people work at jobs that don't offer a 401k. So, no, not everyone else can invest into tax deferred 401k programs. Not everyone has the disposable income available to invest in an IRA. Many people live paycheck to paycheck. I shouldn't have to tell you that.
You do not need to have the job offer a 401K. You can start your own. Call Great Western Retirement. They can do this for you. Don't peddle the BS that gee, others do not have this opportunity. That's a crock. Disposable income? Give up the beer. Now you have $7.00 disposable for the week. In a month you have $28.00. At the end of the year you have $1456.00. My wife and I gave up smoking. By the end of the year we had saved enough to enjoy a week at Disneyland with our kids. Condo, all the parks, plus Sea World and Universal Studios. We ate out every meal. Did not spare any expense because we sacrificed and gave up a crap habit. If you live paycheck to paycheck change your lifestyle. We did.
Who gets the most benefit from a low capital gains rate? The guy with $100,000,000 invested in the stock market or the waitress who contributes $10 a payday to her IRA valued at $1000?
Did the guy with $100,000 invest just wake up with that amount to invest? You are smarter than that Mookie. Look at my paragraph above. Give up the beer. Save the money. Invest it. A lot of people do not wake up with thousands to invest. They started simple.
You've gone off on a tangent here. Capital requires labor to function, and vice versa.
No I have not. Capital requires a guy to start a business. Often that guy is the labor and remains so until he retires. Again, I know more business owners that run their business everyday right next to their employees. I do not know one CEO who drives the company Bentley and does not get dirty.
You're missing the point - if you are poor, you are most likely going to stay poor
And that line of thought is what keeps that individual in the lower income bracket.

So the answer to everyone's problems is to give up beer and they'll magically all have tons of money to invest into the markets?
And when the markets turn and they lose their money, what then?
And lastly...who said you need a sizable portion to invest. Look at a CD. http://www.bankrate.com/cd.aspx
So, earn 1% on 1 year money, and then get a 1099 at the end of the year. Annual inflation rates are currently around 2%. I think your get rich plan may have some holes in it....
If it were as easy as "work hard and give up beer" then more people would be rich. You don't think the millions of people who are working poor thought of that? Or is every one of them just lazy? If it were as simple as working hard, the Guatemalan guy who mows yards for 14 hours a day, 6 days a week would have as much money as Buffett. It's a simplistic worldview and real life just doesn't operate that way for a lot of people. The working poor are a real problem in America, and I'm sorry if that conflicts with the vision of America you've been sold, but it's a fact of life.
And that line of thought is what keeps that individual in the lower income bracket. "Think happy thoughts" is the strategy Peter Pan used to fly. It doesn't really work well when you're working 2 jobs just to keep pace with your bills, you have no transportation, time or money to go to school, you can't move because of the costs involved and you have no credit at all. Pixie dust isn't the answer.
And we're back to the sad fact that low capital gains rates benefit the rich much more than anyone else.

So the answer to everyone's problems is to give up beer and they'll magically all have tons of money to invest into the markets?
And when the markets turn and they lose their money, what then?
The answer certainly is not waiting on a free Obama phone.
The fact of life is most prefer to wait for the next episode of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. Enjoy.
"Think happy thoughts"
What, positive thinking does not work? Those bastards peddling their books and going on tour. I think we should just cancel all pep talks. These don't help. Self help programs...screw it. It's all bunk. Let's sit out front, drink beer and wait on Honey Boo Boo. Good luck to you.

Even Salahudin was tolerant (after he kicked our asses back to europe), and shared with the Christians. What is wrong with these guys?
I know, but I will spare you my rants.
Who knows really Saladin actually asked the jews to come back to Jerusalem and many did.It is probably more over land issues than anything else.
Anyway realistically because of people with extreme views on either side it is not a solvable issue.

Yes!
I may trash Israel, but their neighbors do not make it any better.
Salahudin asked the jews to be the gatekeeper for everyone. After all, they were not trying to kill his people like the Christians were at the time.
He wanted a free place, that all could visit. He understood 3 denominations saw it as a holy place, and because of that granted free passage and safety to all, in order to prevent bloodshed over fighting for it. He is truly a hero to me (one of many great men I look up to in history), as he understood how dumb men were when interpreting god. He was tolerant, and respectful of differing beliefs.

Poor yubbs, I hate to break it to ya but you havn't a leg to stand on as you get so thoroughly trashed from every direction every time.[/QUOTE]
I have observed in life some folks who have difficulty expressing, verbally or written, their thoughts, desires and opinions. As a result of poorly structured sentences, misspelled words and incoherant opinions, facts and fiction, the individual is often dismissed. Deciphering run on sentences is tedious. Dismissing the individual is the easiest route to take. The path of least resistence. Let's take a look at yubbas last few posts.
Permits: county, state and federal governments do require permits to begin just about anything. My dog requires a permit every year just to exist in his county of residence. $8.00 for a permit. Yes, I would imagine some folks view this as another form of government involvement in their life. The lemonade stand the 8 year old has started requires a permit. Granted permits serve a purpose, it would seem by and large permits are a tool that is abused from time to time.
Retirement: has anyone stopped to wonder why people feel the government is after their savings? Why is it a constant struggle to find ways to save tax free or deferred so one can retire? The numerous programs and plans one needs to investigate so the feds do not take what you have earned. This has become a industry in itself. Why do people hide cash? Berth their yacht in another state to avoid a tax(John Kerry)? Why is it us and them? Perhaps you are young and retirement is not a huge concern presently. One day it will be and you too will wonder why. By then you will be old and feeble. Storming Capitol Hill is not in the cards. Your savings handed over in life and another check cut in your death.
Coal: good question on coal in PA. This issue cropped up during the last election. Clean coal technology. Is there such a thing as clean coal? Why is PA a focal point again? The mines that might be closed, why these in particular? Baltimore's electrical grid is a coal based source of the cities electrical supplies. A majority of the coal comes from WV. Any reason WV is not on the chopping block? These coal mines on the block, how does the fed plan on feeding the power plants requiring coal? Such political jockeying over a industry that has been the basis for energy for decades. The infrastructure depends on coal. What are the plans to replace the energy source? Solyndra?
Smoke and mirrors.
So tribes why don't you tell us again about the virtues of communism,, you know,, about all the nice things it does. From what I read about the new world order they say that two thirds of the worlds population must be killed off for it too work,,,, I really don't see you fitting into that one third but again that's just me and my yubbaish opinion,,let me take an extra long deep breath,,because you elites think you can control the very air that I breath,, matter of fact I think I'll cook up some beans,,and alot of BACON.. have a nice day don't forget the clothes pin for your nose..:doh::o oooooo got to go.

Its alex jones the messiah.
Dismissing the individual is the easiest route to take.
It is very easy, extremely easy in this case as he is such a plonker.
Even your examples are easily dealt with
permits, whats new? retirement whats new? coal, whats new?
Its all old hat that goes through the cycle endlessly with tiny alterations.
He has shown that there is no point addressing any issues as he is seemingly braindead and simply repeats the spoonfed rubbish he gets from loony sources. People point out how when and why it is rubbish people even go into detail about why it is rubbish, his only intention is to spam and troll so he just repeats the same old nonsense time after time from the same old crazy sources regardless of what information is available.

Will Japaneese trains even run on British tracks :hmmm:
Only the bullet trains. Normal Japanese trains use a smaller gauge of 1067mm, but the Shinkansen system uses the standard gauge of 1435mm (or 4ft 8.5in), although the overhead electrics are probably incompatible and it'd probably have problems with some of our curves so it'd never run on the mainline.
The one at the NRM was a special gift from the Japanese government IIRC, it's an original Series 0, one of the first bullet trains made.

We could have high speed rail in the states,,but no private business wants to build, and no where in the constitution says the government is to be in the railroad business...Just a liberal boon doggle,,like green energy...Germany was able to turn coal into high grade aviation fuel what we can't do that,, heck I built a HHO generator in which it only takes 12 volts break water down to its 2 elements,,I'm working on a bigger one to be use as a torch, or run a small engine.,, Maybe you should look up Howard Johnson not only did he build a great place to eat breakfast he also invented a magnet motor in which he has 3 patents on,, so google it.

Love the model pics. A dream of mine that will reamin only a dream for many years to come.
But trains is srs bsns! :03:
Since Austria-Hungary? Well, that must mean your railways are more modern than ours! Most of our infrastructure is still from the era of her majesty Queen Victoria! Still, if it works, which it usually does. It's just the business side of things where it all falls apart. :03:
I know what you mean about that dream...but one day, eh? :yep:

It's the lack of space.
Luckily the partisans and allied bombers blew a couple of bridges during WWII, so at least some are ''brand new''

The Luftwaffe did its best with ours, but aside from rebuilding a couple of stations, most of it was just patched back over with wood and sticky tape. :yep:

I always planned (read: dreamed) in HO. A Slovene producer, Mehano, only made those in HO, since they were a good match between quality and price.

Aaah, yeah, HO is probably the widest range, but yes it can take up a lot of room. Although that being said, you can make the most of what little space there is, this site has some examples:

But I know what you mean, to get a decent sized station, engine shed, scenery, it all takes up too much room. :dead:

As a kid I floated a couple of model ships out into the pond and used a 22 rifle with a scope on them that was entertaining for a couple of minutes,, now kids just because I did it doesn't mean you should,, so don't start heading out to the pool..:doh:
So would you rather have a Liberal or a Conservative engineer on your train,,, knowing full well the bridge is out down the line,,the conservative would stop and see if there was another way,,, The liberal Obama engineer would be full speed ahead,, more fuel on the fire, we come this far we can't stop..So when is some one going to tell me how nice it's going to be after our economy and society collapses,.Will it be like Mad Max, Mad Max Road Warrior, or Mad Max Thunder Dome..?????

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tybIzhpHK9A&feature=related I wonder how much space this will take up in a computer,,maybe I shouldn't show you this, it would be less than modeling.. had a speech problem, was in a hurry to see the debate, have to hand it to Uncle Joe he did pretty good but I lost count of how many times he said 47%

Well spent the morning throwing up finger nails, knuckles and elbows, I see the stock market didn't like it either dropping 250 points, what alittle buyers remorse, I think in a month or so, I'll find a nice seat and watch this trainwreck unfold, meanwhile I am going to do alittle deer hunting and hone my outdoor skills,,and spend sometime with the folks,,, for the next 5 weeks and I'll try not getting stuck upside down in a tree stand.
