Long time no see SubSim! So, I just got the game back, and have been cruising around the sea's for a while. Now, One of my favored U-boats is the IX-D2.

Problem is, it cost's an arm and a leg to achieve, :nope:, and I rarely survive long enough to get to it's production date. I know someone made a mod for the Type XXI for 1939, so could someone do the same for the IX-D2? If so, I'd be grateful.

First, install SH3 Commander. It will do so much for your game you'll wonder how you ever lived without it.

Second, open SH3/Cfg/U-boat availability. There you will find the start dates for all the boat types. Simply change the dates to what you want. The IX-B in 1939 is historical; the IX-D2 is not. If history isn't what you're after, that's cool too.

There is a mod called WB's Play it your way (SH3 Cmdr) which allows you through SH3 commander to use any sub at any given time from any base.
Thus you can enjoy the game in any way you like it.

The problem is that I don't remember where I had found it.
