[REQ] Delta class sub

Hi all,

This being my first post on this forum, though I am a seasoned player of SH games, I would like ton congratulate all the modders for their outstanding job !!!

I am currently playing standalone ships from the Cold War mod and the HMS Astute and they are really awesome !


So, as the title of this message says, I am looking for a Delta class sub, be it Mk2, 3 or 4.

I've read somewhere that one coud be found in the german forums, at Ubi.com, yet I could not manage to find it and my german sucks big time. (In fact I can't understand a word of german -_-)

If anyone has a link to this sub or if there is a project to create a standalone version from the Cold war Mod, could you let me know ?

i think i have my original deltaIII refit standalone for US campaign around.ill upload it again.

thanks. well, making the juliett was quite some pain in the ass sometimes, but my personal favorite is the 659T refit, which is the best sub i made so far in my opinion,besides the papa. for the rest, which has not been refitted, i sometimes wonder when playing them how i could ever release such crap.... guess i tend to perfectionism.... ps havent found the us campaign mod, but ill make a modpack with the yankee(maybe the refit beta if there is time), the Delta III and IV. the mod is up and running with the original sub models, but the upc`s and campaign files have to be rewritten and the extensibles will be updated. ill keep you posted.

Actually, I was wondering how many hours did you spend on this Juliett Mod ? Just to have an idea....

Your Papa class is very good too !

I am not a big fan of the 659T. I am not talking about your mod of course, but about the look of that sub in general.

I saw some screens of the Yankee class you've been working on, it looks very promising too.

juliett class= 4 month. doing the front dorr/front piece guidance radar alone took 1 month, and during the progress i found better plans and pictures so i had to redesign the whole conning superstructure.

still to do: new models for the Yankee and Delta III, retexturing of the DIV.

ps i sometimes had a ctd when i closed the sub systems panel back to the desk.i do not know the reason yet, first time i encounter that issue.

The Delta IV details and texture are insane !

I happened to find the Yankee quite interesting too.

Something weird : First dive takes 6min30s between the order and the completion of the action...
