Problem loading darkwraith sh5 mod NewUIs_TDC_7_1_0_TheDarkWraith.7z

Can some one help me please. I have been trying to install this mod NewUIs_TDC_7_1_0_TheDarkWraith.7z for the last few days and I just cannot get it to work. I have used jsgme to activate it. It says that it is activated, when I try and start the game it goes to a main menu asking me to select YES, NO or CANCEL to various options and can't get past this stage and if I click on a option behind this menu like continue campaign it tries to load but then it always crashes back to the silent hunter uplay screen. Any advice would be appreciated I am running windows 7 64bit. Thanks.

When you downloaded the mod did you extract it with 7Zip or something similar ?

Hello erazer,

I have a further question. Did you install the complete folder with the additive mods or only the UI?

Seems to be a stupid question, but that's me in the heat of the moment sometimes happens.:oops:

I unzipped it with express zip and I am unfamiliar with 7zip

that would be the problem. There are multiple mods in that archive. You need to decide which ones exactly would you like to activate.

Inside this archive there is folder MODS - in that folder there are many mods that you can combine; including the NewUI.

Thanks everyone for your help. I got it to work by using 7zip to unzip the files.

By the way could any of you tell me how to enable all the TAI map features. Once again thanks for your help, you have saved me from a great deal of stress.

Hello Everyone

I am really starting to get into silent hunter 5 now. Could any one tell me the best place to download Real Navigation from also are there any other really good mods that enhance the game with navigation or automation. I am fairly new to sh5 but am starting to really enjoy it with these mods.

You should go for Sobers mod list if you like real nav:yep:

It will take a bit of downloading to get all of these (subsim max 10 per day)- so look for the main ones to get first
