You mean so you actually see the picture here rather than having to click a link? I'm not sure, but I don't think so.

It's called embedding, and it's not possible for some reason, if it were you'd know about it. My guess is the forum software isn't enabled for it.

Thanks guys!
Ok, we can live with only a simple link line.

Perhaps Neal could look into it. I am a member of another Forum powered by vBulletin which has this enabled.

Hi my Friend!
I think we would be all happy if Reaper would explain us all how we implement a YouTube Video here in a post, not only to rubini in a pm....! :03:

Currently as it stands vBulletin (subsim forum application) does not support embedded YouTube as standard.
To get around this custom BB code is required which can only be installed via the admin panel (By Unkel Neal).
As can be seen here http://www.geekpoint.net/threads/youtube-bbcode-vbulletin.3877/
The method I used as Manos linked doesn't actually embed the YouTube video.
Instead I cheated and used a static pic of the video cropped from the YouTube site.
This pic is then hyperlinked to the actual video. Crude but effective.

hi Thomas,
there is not such a thought-intention here Thomas.
as i know John,i know that he would had replied to Rubini if he had seen his question (as he actually did now) so i suggested Rubini to pm John just in order to get ,for sure, an answer from John....thats all :yep:
