Just a quick question, because it seems that I'm either doing something wrong, missing or DRM isn't that much dead..
So, for the past 2 weeks have been trying to figure things out with all the mods and DRM and no-syncronization. And what surprises me is that the game STILL syncronizes with the server for saved games.
In uplay it is all disabled, it is in offline mode... and nevertheless.
And if I try to just disable the internet (te-he) - the game just ctds in the loading of any mission or campaign.

I keep getting the message that savegames were update from the server just after the loading screen, even though I haven't any savegame on the server, U-Play is set to offline, and my modem is switched off
At least I am lucky no to have CTDs like in your case...

The game is syncronising saves with the ubilauncher . Its great because you can reinstall sh5 if something goes wrong and your saves will always be with the ubilauncher . They are both on your harddrive . The only way to delete saves is while playing the game click on save and then delete saves . That is unless you uninstall sh5 and the ubilauncher .
