A couple of years ago I was working with somebody else on the forums to create clean templates for medal certificates. The project stalled after a few weeks and the WIP templates have sat quietly on my HD ever since. I figured I'd post them just in case anybody can put them to good use.
I went through various steps to make these; starting out with images of authentic certs which are by now quite aged and faded. I hunted down the best estimates for the original fonts, clipped and photoshopped symbology, and then experimented with various layouts and effects to get them looking as best as my skills allowed at the time.
Honestly can't remember what this one was:

Missing a signature and a stamp.

With and without signatures and stamps, since I was never too happy with the quality of either.

Guess we all need one of these eventually:

This one was a real pain because the original image was a bad photocopy and the border imagery is both too unique to be duplicated with my meagre skills, and too fine to survive much cutting, pasting, sharpening or any other photoshopping. The end result was a cut and paste that never looked good.
I believe the original intention for these was to be incorporated into an out-of-game patrol/career review program, possibly SH3Cmdr, but it was waaay back in 2009 and my memory fails me.
Hope somebody finds these useful! If somebody can think of a valid use for these I might be interested in doing more work on them.
e: should point out that these are all single examples, in the folder they come from each cert has at least 5-10 drafts with tiny variations in text and image placement, colouration etc, and it's been so long I forgot which ones were most accurate at the time. If you notice small typos or mistakes in any of these I probably have a version with the issues fixed.
