Here is the attack map with the additional bearing markings displayed.

On the attack map, a bearing tool is of little use but on the nav map it really comes to use. The problem I have with the various bearing tool mods so far is that they all are offset just like the basic bearing tool on the attack map, none of them centres correctly either as can be seen when hydrophone lines are extended to intersect. The extra overlay enabled by hitting the ? icon however, seems to be both corectly centered and correctly showing the bearing. Note the disagreement between the two at various bearings.
Question then: Can that extra bearing tool be used as the base for a new, improved bearing tool, showing the correct bearings and with correct center?
