Hi there.

I too am sailing the Sailfish.

Whilst patroling the Formosa Straight. Bagged my self a Hakusika Maru:arrgh!:. The Maru must have mange to send a message out before she went down because a jap sub :o came speeding down not long after. I didn't have any forward torpedo's loaded and she was zipping around far to fast for an aft tube shot so I put my stern to her and rushed off down the strait in an attempt to stay away from the search planes that would follow.

This boat is full of surprises.

Yep! Pretty cool when you can see the history of the boats that were actually there! I agree. I made my own mini mod so that I can use the USS Cod. I live near Akron, OH and the Cod is located in Cleveland, so every year I always go visit her. I have several books about her, so it really is cool to be able to sail her from the same base and time period as the original and try to duplicate her patrols.
