Loaded Historic Turm Pack, and now GWX flag&Pens_2010 wont work, is there anyway to fix this?

Did you read the warning that JSGME gives? It will say what is to be overwritten. If it's just the Commands.cfg file you can compare them to see exactly what's different between the two and change it so it works. If it changes some other files then the task is more difficult.

Thanks Steve, It overwrites these files:

"de_menu.txt" has already been altered by the "GWX - Alternative Flotillas" mod.
"en_menu.txt" has already been altered by the "GWX - Alternative Flotillas" mod.
"Turm2A_1_hd.dat" has already been altered by the "Turm 2A Your Way" mod.
"Turm7b_1_hd.dat" has already been altered by the "Historic Turm Pack v1" mod.
"Turm7b_2_hd.dat" has already been altered by the "Historic Turm Pack v1" mod.
"Turm7c_1_hd.dat" has already been altered by the "Historic Turm Pack v1" mod.

I can open with S3D, but just learning how to use it.

You think easy or hard?

I'm not sure. I'm not very good at it myself. In your original post you said that 'Flags&Pens' was altered by 'Historic Turm Pack', but now you're looking at something that will overwrite the second one. Or are you trying to reinstall 'Flags&Pens'? I'm not sure which order you're trying to install them in.

I took out the Flag&Pens to install the Turm your way. Flag&Pens needs to go in last. If I install Flag& Pens the mod works but overwrites Turm, the 7C emblems will work but not the 7B. So the problem lies with the 7B overwite. Which I beleave is with the antenna being up and turning on the 7B in Turm your way. It is the only differance I see.

Would be easier of you posted your whole mod-setup.

But the only setup that i know of, that enables you to use Flags 'n Pens & Turm your way, is Aces compatibility Mods!

I did find Ace's St. Nazaire Super Pens v5.1 GWX, and Ace's Super, Dupah, Woopah Turms Compendium (Super Turms V6)

are these the ones you were talking about?

I installed Super Turms V6 as stated:

This mod combines entries from three mods into one so that you can have Flakmonkey's Twisty Periscope, Privateer's Turm emblems Your Way and Anvart's Flag and Pennants and DF Antenna all at the same time as well as Tarjak's Historic Emblem Pack and a big bonus curtsey of Flakmonkey who has very kindly produced new Type 7c1 Exterior Lightmaps.

When enabled the Type 7b1, 7b2, 7c1 and 7c8 Turms (conning towers) will display the above. Please see the enclosed documentation for the Turm Emblems Your Way mod for more details of how to customise your own emblems.

The mod should be enabled in JSGME after Anvart's Flag and Pennants and DF Antenna (GWX_DFa-Flag&Pens_2010).

Note: This mod is also compatible with the Waterstream+Exhaust Combi V2.3 for GWX3 mod which should be installed first.

So that Flag&Pens are installed first, then Aces Super Turms V6 for GWX. But the 7B turms are still only on one side like the old emblems. It seems to only work if I take out Flags&Pens....:/\\!!

You're using JSGME 2.2. The latest version is 2.6.

This version not only tells you what is going to be overwritten, it also greys out the mods that have been overwritten. This lets you get a better handle on what's going on.

When I try to place an emblem on the 9c i get this:everythig goes to the side and not all the way around?:06::06:

Steve I down loaded the new version, and that version also greyed out overwritten mods. if I add flags it will grey out the trums

If I can just get the 9c to work I can live without the flags:wah:

The Stock Emblems, or custom ones that use the stock-placement, will not work properly on turms-your-way. AFAIK, there is a folder in the Turms-your-way, that has modified emblems that work on the new Towers.

I got it to work, sorry about that and thank you:yeah:

I just hate trying new mods, it takes forever to get them all to work. Just wish I knew more about modding this game, I would try to fix it myself

This is my last Mod for this game, no more after this, If I can just get what I have to work together....:/\\!! Turms and flags are my only problem.:down::hmm2:

And the 9c is my only problem now with Turms, as you can see from a post above, the emblem comes out on one side, instead of all the way around.

Really? Do you have the St Naz mod, which puts gates on the locks? SH5 Water for SH3? Simfeeling 6-Dials? Assisted Plotting? Have you looked at what's available here:

Hi, Reinhard.
Basis of GWX_DFa-Flag & Pens_2010 mod are turms... therefore, mod is not compatible with any mods which change the turms.

Yes after 6 hours of finding all the mods and installing them, I found this out.

I will just have to do away with the flag&pens mod, until I can find away. Until then I will just have to instill one mod at a time and see what I can get. As time is running out, and I have to get Raiders of the Deep back off the ground again with Sea Wolves.

I still can't get the Type 9c to work, so I will just not put an emblem on them, but the others Type IIa, VIIb, and VIIc all work great.
