Can you mod a steam version of SHIII??

PS: does SHIII runs on Windows 7??
im looking into buying SHIII only for the mods and gameplay :Kaleun_Periskop:
and the fact that is not screwed up like SHV

I was able to play a heavily modded steam version just fine some 2 years back. IIRC none of the major mods have any issues with Steam. Well, none that I noticed

SH5 stock is 'screwed up', I'll give you that. But modded and patched (with my generic patcher) it's an entirely different game :D
SH3 will run on Windows 7, at least it does on mine (Win 7 Ultimate 64bit)

I have tried and installed few more modern day (2004 and onwards in my books) PC games than I'd care to admit. SH V has so far been the only one I've never gotten to work in satisfactory stable fashion. Modded, Vanilla, lightly modded, heavily modded. Doesn't matter. Annoying, frequent yet dififcult to re-produce CTDs are the order of the day for me.
