I am having problems with the Speech Recognition. Knowing that a lot of people have had problems it is surprising that it actually works for me! Where I have problems is that windows 7 wants to open up programs in the background when I use it. Does anyone know how to “restrict” Voice Recognition to Dangerous Waters only?

I guess training the speech recognizer better to your pronunciation. See the speech applet in configuration panel. You'll have to speak out some texts that it gives you. Also, it expects you to speak English, so if you have an accent then it might not be able to follow you correctly.

same problem. I'm wondering if maybe there is another speech recognition program that would be compatible with dangerous waters.

Yeah, I have the same problem. It's not like how the push-to-talk was on XP. Also, OP, it's hard to read your post when it's black text against the dark gray background :O:
