Dumb Question For the Experts... O2 Replenishment Issue

Sorry for the dumb question, but my searches here have been without success.

In the process of putting SH4 back on my 'puter, I remembered an old problem that really stuck in my neck. (It has been a LONNNNG time since I've been able to play SH4.) After an extended dive, I recall that the CO2 level would not return to normal.

My question is: Are there any mods, small or big (like Trigger Maru) that have corrected that old stock bug?

Any help and/or info would be appreciated.

I'm not sure if anyone was able to fix that problem. The only solution I'm aware of is to save and reload the game. That works every time.

To CO2 issue if memory serves, usually happens if you ALT+TAB out of the game while submerged. If it does happen, do as Sailor Steve says, save and reload the game. Try to do it though, while you are surfaced. That should take care of it, if it does occur for you.

I have had to for specific reasons, ALT + TAB while submerged, and (knock on wood) haven't had it happen. Also had to save a couple times while submerged, and come back to the game later on, and had no ill effects, so it could just be a glitch from computer to computer, and not a standard issue that everyone sees.

That's not to say it won't happen in the future though.

Happens to me everytime I tab out submerged...hate that bug, never been fixed.

I guess I have just been fortunate. I think maybe it happened with SHIII, but not yet with SH4.

As far as I know, SH3 never had the CO2 bug.

I have never had the O2 bug, though I haven't Alt-tabbed very much.
