Tmo lifeguard duty mod request

Hi can someone or ducimus make it easier to get lifeguard duty in tmo I am currently playing tmo and I have never get lifeguard duty maybe someone here can make a mod so I get them more often thanks.

Looking in the SH4\Data\Campaigns\Campaign\PatrolObjectives folder, out of what looks like 272 objectives, only 12 are for lifeguard duty.

There is,

1 for the Gilberts,

1 for Iwo Jima,

2 for the Marianas

1 for the Marshals,

1 for Okinawa,

1 for Palau,

3 for the Philippines,

and 2 for The Solomons.

Not sure how to add more of them, plus, you would have to script in the planes making the attacks.

Like one of the things that would be nice, is to see the B-29s coming over to bomb the Japanese Home Islands, and the possibility of picking up survivors from B-29s that have to ditch. Not like it would happen every patrol, or guaranteeing you would just happen to be in the right place at the right time, but if they spot your boat, they try to ditch as close as possible to you, so you can effect a rescue of the surviving crew members.

Would also be nice to be able to fish Japanese out too, as POWs, and civilian detainees for merchant and fishing boats.

Are all the objectives equally probable, or are some favored over others?

If by 'see' you mean 'detect on SD radar, determine they'll pass within 5nm of me, and dive to 100ft for 15 minutes', then yes.

By 1944, no plane, Allied or Axis, is spotting my boat.

That said, it would be cool if, once I surfaced, I found a liferaft from a ditched B-29. But they'll never manage to ditch near me on purpose. :ping:
