View Full Version : CO 2 rates in a Type VII

I have noticed that CO2 rates, when submerged, seem to rise quite quickly and limit submerged times.
Does anyone else think these rates are too high?

Literature I have read shows that maximum submerged endurance for a VII was three days. Yes, that is the absolute extreme period but suggests to me that what we currently have in SH5 is not right and that CO 2 build-up ought to be toned down somewhat.

What do you all think? Something worth modding?

Modding? No. Patching? Yes.

Luckily I already have the memory address for the CO2 production rate mapped out

Literature I have read ...

Perhaps you could be more specific?

Renewable 02 (fresh air by open the deck-hatch): 5-7 hours dive time - depends on workload of the crew
Bottled 02, not renewable: a total of ca. 80hours dive time
All figures refer to a type VII.
