i was just thinking that i,d like to see someone talented in this to make a mod where after a large warship is sunk and headed to the bottom,,,you,d hear a deep rumbling explosion from the depths and maybe a large water geyser on the surface showing the doomed ship it,s final demise..
I,m reading "Shattered Sword" at the moment (Excellent book)and the japanese survivors of the sunken carriers all heard this from their respective carriers after they sunk..(the deep explosion,not the waterspout)..
just thought this would add to the realism..:salute:

Many of the ship do explode under water, mostly capital ships.

And if you are close enough, you can hear em through the walls of your sub without going to the hydrophone station. This happened to me like an hour ago, I thought my sub was going to be taking damage it was so loud/close. BOOM!

Use your free camera to follow the sinking ship, as it sinks to the bottom. There are sound effects.

Thicker smoke from ships sinking would be a cool addon, like the pics of Yamato. But the explosion as she went down was huge as it is thought an ammo magazine went up.

Now that would be a cool add on, that would shake the boat if you were close enough.

have to follow one down if i get lucky enough again...had a big carrier in my sights last night,,fired four torps,,,first three banged off of the hull,,,DUDS!!!!
last one hit at the very edge of the bow!! just kept on going about it,s business!!

those shock waves from the big guns on the battleship are awesome !

Yeah, the shockwave on the water is a cool effect! That's another one that would be neat to have.
