I dont like the Fog right now.....in Med FOG I can see Stars on the horizon..including moon ....and Sun..but cant see surface contacts.... is this correct with the MODs? I dont know ...it doesnt feel right to me. What about Fog Banks? or isolated weather? I guess that when I'm in FOG....like RL...I dont want to see anything unless im right on it....or not at all if its thick. My Navigator can still take C readings as well. I guess my biggest complaint is I can see a horizon....in FOG...which doesnt make since to me.
How is the weather Variance moddelled? seems to be stuck on same weather for days on end...which I could understand...but wind speed doesnt change at all either...which is not realistic. I guess what im asking is how dynamic is the weather?
My MODs are below.

Well...update....With Real Enviro.....it updates weather every 48 hours...but that only means one thing has to change...like this last patrol I was on I had about 8 straight days of no clouds, no percip, and Med FOG...but the winds woud change every 48 hours? :0/
I take the "seeing the horizon in Med Fog" coment back. The Fog does do a decent job of no visible horizon...how ever there is still stars, moon, sun and water reflection for both sun and moon.
One question....has anyone used Sober's best Fog ever? If so...how different is it from Real Enviro?

check out this mod. Did wonders for me.
Makes the weather more varied. Lots of sunny calm days :sunny:
I actually had 5 days of rain and lightening storms once!
was great! Is pretty rare though but better than boring old fog.
:yeah:
