Hi,
How can I mod TMO 2.5 to halt time compression when a ship is sighted?
Thanks!

Haven't tried it yet. Let us know how you do.

Yes, look in your Documents folder.
Change it in here:
SH4 Folder
Data Folder
Cfg Folder
main.cfg File
Look at the other settings in there also. You can adjust them to your liking. Also, I think Time Compression setting is in there.
Most folks don't go over 1024 using TC, to avoid issues, and I think, it can cause CTDs if set too high. But 1024 works good for speeding things up.

Determined that the ships being sighted and not halting time compressions was because they were friendly ships being spotted. For some reason the Americans decided to send ships to the Philippines in dec 41.:) Dutch ships were also sighted early war.

Yeah, sometimes the ships spawn kinda weird. I started a campaign one time outta Manila in 41, and even before the Japanese took over the Philippines, a Japanese freighter tried entering the harbor! :o
Of course every shore battery let him have it! It was rather funny to watch.

You gotta admire their confidence. :haha:

That you do! Either that, or they were sticking their toe in the water to see how warm or cold it really was there!
