I-400 AI?>?

Looking for the I-400, there is one that will travel from point to point in RSRD but if I recall it has no sound file and will not fire back etc.I remember there being an AI I-400 mod, searching for it but cant find it.Would like to see if it will work , would like to have it in the campaign so can sink it:arrgh!: or how would I fix this.Help appreciated.

I have an AI Sen Toku that has a readme by Webster, and it says the engine sounds were fixed by me, so I guess it has sound. :doh: It was so long ago I do not remember if it shoots back or not but you can try it.

I would love sub on sub warfare to be honest, I don't know why it wasn't added in the first place being a submarine simulator and all :nope:

Mainly because US and Japanese subs didn't make a habit of duking it out.

TMO has an AI japanese sub you can sink, blows up nicely, it's in RSRD also and the German "Monsun" boats appear in RSRD as well, in fact in October 44 I believe it is you get a message about a U boat in the Formosa Straits.I have added the 3 IJN subs the USS Batfish sank in Feb 1945, have yet to play a patrol in the area at that time but will soon.

Plenty of IJN subs were sunk on the surface by US subs and I believe a couple US subs were sunk by IJN subs that caught them on the surface(that we know about, possible some of those lost to unknown causes were lost to enemy subs also, so many IJN subs were lost, its possible they were never able to report it) The instance in WW II where actual sub v sub warfare, as in they were both submerged, was when a British sub sank a German U boat in 1945 in the North Sea.U-864 and HMS Venture I believe were their names, the U boat lost.
