Anyone ever made a mod to make enemy searchlights destructible? Rather lame when you score multiple hits on one(on a freighter) and it just keeps on shining lol. Also, how about a way to take out enemy guncrews.Example, in May 1942 off Borneo, I attacked a lone freighter, of course 2 of 3 torpedoes failed, so the ship sailed on after taking one to the gut.I was in transit to patrol area so didnt want to use more fish or waste time in a pursuit so surfaced for deck gun attack, score some hits, started fires but got a little too close and opened up with automatic fire(no cannon yet) , I used my AA gun to rake down the gun crews with no effect in addition to the searchlight. At the very least, searchlight shouldve blown on.I did manage to one gun crew but even after multiple 3 inch gun hits to the other, they kept plugging away.Just wondering if anyone could remedy this, thanks.

With searchlights I have been able to destroy them on DD's with a deckgun firing HE rounds. The crew though, I'm not sure about, I know a direct torpedo hit will make them hit the deck but I don't know if that will disarm them from machine gunning you down.

machine guns i have never been able to destroy under any circumstances but deck gun crews are tied to the guns, take out the guns and you take out the gun crews, thats the only way.
searchlights have been a pet peeve of mine ever since i played this game, they (and the signal lights) never want to die even underwater. i love a sunken ship in shallow water with only the mast sticking up and its flashing away like nothings wrong :o
the "only" way i could ever get rid of then is to destroy where they are mounted so in the case of DD you can blow up the platform they are on so they have no place to exist and vanish but thats just creating a glitch by accident and you still arent destroying them
