When I try to run this mod with OM and OMEGU 3 as it begins to load the 3D game world (starting a mission) windows generates hundreds of consecutive a "Menu id not found ...." error messages I must CTRL ALT DEL SH4 to recover.

Any thoughts. Here is my mod load order:

OMv705_to_V720
OMv720_Patch5
OMEGU_v300
OMEGU_v300_Patch7
Traveller Mod v1.1 for OM 7.20
OM_SH3_Command_Keys

Thanks for any help. I love this mod for the PTO, I would really like to have it as well in my ATO campaign.

It turns out it was the menu.ini file in traveller mod conflicting with the one in OMEGU 3.

I pseudo merged the OMEGU patch 7 with the traveller mod and it seems to be working correctly. I say "pseudo" merged because I simply merged the two mods leaving out the conflicting traveller menu.ini file.

I figured all I might be missing in that case were some icons in the crew management screen, and for the time being everything else seems to work so I am going with it.

I consider your mod among my must haves for both theatres of operation. :)

Although I hope it never happens, I love the idea that my crew might have to spend hours / days stranded on the bottom, desperately fighting to repair their crippled machine while they slowly suffocate.

Now that is immersion ! :)

Many thanks for these wonderfull mods all are working fine and have changed the game for the good a request can you do something about the crews uniforms short sleeve shirts in the middle of the atlantic arent very accurate :D

Just confirming that the patch for OMEGU works. I am using it successfully with OMEGU patch 7.

Thanks for all the hard work.

Unfortunately, on my system the stability hasn't improved. The mods work fine, in game, the issue arises when I try and load save games.

90 % of save games CTD on load, the occurances are completely random. No criteria, or timing when or where I save in game makes a difference.

I have sequentially removed / added all the mods I run (after the core OM/OMEGU setup) and it appears that it is the traveller mod that causes the save game CTDs'.

I have no idea why it would be causing this, the traveller mod works perfectly fine in my PTO Trigger Maru installation. My guess is some small remaining conflicts with OMEGU perhaps.

In answer to your query, during testing I was starting a new campaign with every mod change.

Beginning even with the first save after starting a new campaign the game CTD's before it even presents the loading bar. This happens only with the traveller mod enabled. (I enabled it and it's OMEGU compatibility patch last in the load order, or next to last, followed only by your lifeboat mod.)

The CTD's happen with or without the lifeboat mod enabled, and the lifeboat mod enabled without the traveller mod does not cause any problems.

The only other mods I am running are the OM / OMEGU core setup, and two small texture only mods that are likely not contributing to the crashes.

Additionally, I tried with the 4 gig. .exe patch both enabled and with the stock .exe and neither has any effect on the CTD's.

Hope this info helps in some way to find what must be a needle in a haystack.

Which also makes me wonder if, perhaps, it is just my machine having these troubles ?

Edit: Mindful that leaving even "two small texture only mods..." enabled is poor troubleshooting practice I disabled all mods except OM/OMEGU, followed by traveller mod, then the OMEGU compatibility patch, and finally the traveller lifeboat mod. I am still getting the CTD's when I try to load any save game after exiting the first play session.

Not only did you solve the save game crashing, but the new Medic / crew health additions make an already excellent mod even better !

To be honest, I have no idea. I downloaded it and looked through the files. Seems the new changes are inter-meshed quite a bit. Might even have to mod the 1024_768 menu file to disable karamazovnew's new gui. :hmmm:

Could there be an option to keep karamzovnew's work intact? No problem if you can't.

Hi Traveller, thanks for the great job you're doing with SH4. I wanted to know if you can move around inside the submarine in the mod OPERATION MONSUN as in the TRIGGER MARU, as it seems a bit dull, unable to move inside.

It seems traveller has disappeared from the SHIV forums, for both theatres. I hope it's just a well deserved break, and not something permanent.

I'm still modding SH4, but I won't be contributing my mods here at Subsim any more. I won't go into details. Let's just say that I'm tired of the bs that's tolerated here. :shifty:
