Alright. I'm a kind, calm-natured southern boy, so I'll just assume that when you said "Yankees", you were talking baseball in which case we're on the same page. But you really need to study the principles of "how to win friends and influence people" if you want any further help.

Moving on, your question about the "smoke" has already been answered. It's called "exhaust" and is common to internal combustion engines.

I don't know if Yankees are laughing at Asians, though I doubt it. Most of us here in the States have nothing but the highest respect for Asians. Sure, we're a bit hung up about that whole December 7th thing, but that was a different generation and most of those backstabbing critters are dead, so no harm, no foul.

Most importantly: Don't ever, ever call a Texan "Yankee." It doesn't go over well with us but, being a furriner, you're excused. This time.
