Makes it harder for the player to hit targets in bad weather .
Makes it harder for the AI crew to hit targets in bad weather .

Hi sober. Just a note that I tried your mod and unfortunately I can still send crew to the deck gun even when the conditions at sea are harsh. But thank you anyway for attempting to mod this.

All right then. I honestly haven't tried to shoot at anything, I thought you were trying to mod this so it would not be possible to send the deck gun crew at all. The way I send them to deck gun is via conversation window with the watch officer. Is there any difference between doing it this way and officers bar at the bottom of the screen with "more crew commands mod"? Anyway I'm gonna doublecheck that accuracy then. Thank you for working on this one.

Yes, i use it from some time now.
Very nice, but for some reason, still able to mouve and man the deck gun even with big waves. Sometimes i can't mouve the gun, and sometimes i can...:-?
Best way to avoid this issue would be to be unable to access/take the deck gun (even with teleportation) when too much waves :yep:
Meaning for instance 7m/s waves= all deck gun icons greyed

Beyond these values, the deckgun can't be manned, whether or not it gets submerged from time to time :03:

But the deckgun manned by the AI or youself should be a lot less accurate in heavy waves . Have you been surprised by shells from a destroyer in fog yet ?

I've faced with such situation, when in fog conditions my watchcrew reports nothing but shells are coming from the fog from destroyers. Thats one of the reasons I decided not to use 'Sobers Best Ever fog' in my modlist:salute::salute:

That's not right. If you can't see them, they shouldn't see you or fire against you, unless they got a radar and a radar gun director. :hmmm:

Thts the thing with my gun mod , unless you see the muzzle flash you dont know where the shells are coming from . I thought it was from the merchant but unknown to me a DD was just clearing the fog behind me . The sim cfg might need adjusting for fog but i have never had a problem .

Are You sure? By the word 'You' we mean player or supercrewmen that could report contacts in few seconds before the target is visible (appears on monitor) for the player? If You remember the problem of extrasencitive abilities of WO have already being discussed:hmmm:

Certainly. Before i adjusted it, my crew was able to spot (and lock) a boat far in the fog even if i coundn't see it...so i guess inverse was happening too!
