View Full Version : Any mod to the XO TDC window?

Hi guys,


Any mod to replace the XO TDC dialog window ? I mean, something with less modern design, more like Sh3 one?:hmmm:


It is a bit odd as it is now and also is a bit bigger on my already crawed torpedo screens...

It is a bit big isn't it!
It is probably ok on higher res screens, but on my 1366x768 laptop it obscures all of the scope. It is a shame it does not scale for lower res screens.

I tend to move it out of the way by pressing L
(puts it in the place of the message box)

Thanks...so,is not just me (I run in a 26" 1360x768 Sony LCD tv)!
I never noticed that with the L key i can move it...is this using the default commands.cfg file or you use another one?
(I'm using tdw 6.9.0 and seems that it don't work)

Iīm using TWD UI 6.9.0...is it compatible? If no, any tip on what I need to do to integrate it on TDW UI?

check in the folders of the mod (where you unzipped them). There is a sub mod named Reaper7's enhanced ERM

It's already dragable on my setting!:up:

Even reaper7's one is a bit too large on my screen (1360x768)...is it too difficult to make it minor, editing the menu entries? Any directions on where I need to look to (into the files)?

Hi Rubini, I made it as small as I could get away with. Unfortunately the dds images for the ship sils are hard coded to display at the size they show on screen.
It took alot of testing and editing to trick the system into displaying the left and right mini sils away from the sided to behind the main image.
Game Doesn't like this as the hardcoding tries to display them at the side. But I managed to sort of do it :D.

Does this replace the TDC dails in your UI mod?
It does for me! (I want them back)

And where does pressing L key to move XO box come from, I thought it was from NewUIs?

I try this option but it is slight different than reaperīs stand alone one and the L key never work/call the XO for me too.:hmmm:
(no problems with TDC, it is yet there)
