Looking for these mods by CaptainKobuk. Anyone happen to have a copy saved? Old posted links don't work and of course megaupload is down. Didn't find them on the D/L page here.

Presuming they are compatable, used to have the drive to edit the .zon / .sim files, not anymore. Btw I like the fleet boats, but imo the fish stink. So if your a realism nazi how about keep your opinion out of it, I want to play the game the way I want to not the way you want to.

you can also adjust yourself values if want even more powerful torpedoes
go in mods>your_sub>data>library
open torpedo/torpedoes_US.sim file (depends of what type of ship you have
here you can modify torpedo parameters like speed, range, detonation type (magnetic or impact) range for magnetic detonation, chances for misfire
then open .zon file, here you can change power of detonation, range of explosion and armor penetration coef
you can destroy all ships of a convoy with one single fish, but if you are too close...
i put this info because sometimes torpedoes are edited with ships by their creators and general modded torps don't work
mentioned files wil be opened with skwas's silent 3ditor

i have a mod thats been available for a while where you can choose 25% or 50% damage increase for ALL torpedos but in direct proportion to each specific torpedo so they are not all given a standard chosen power but rather in line with the type of torpedo you use, there is a version for german and american torpedos
see "my mods" in my sig
it increases damage without the over the top visual damage of some mods which i call the swiss cheese effect because they often make the mistake of over increasing the damage radius which isnt needed

and as someone pointed out to me once, those 100 hits might just be 25 people who checked in on the thread 4 times (including yourself) since its just how many looks it got not how many different people looked at it. :03:
