Is there somebody who create's playable ships for sh4 1.4.
not like the iowa.
problem is only few people use 1.4 version, is easyer to go to UBM

The problem is that it is hard to get UBM.

Well, can you tell me, where I can find the file that controls the speed of subs, and their range? I looked at the cfg file, and tried changing some of that, the only thing that seemed to actually have an effect was the max depth setting.

You will need to change it in the particular subs .sim file using S3D editor ie if it's the Gato, you go into the Gato.sim file (found in the data/submarine/subs name/ folder) than go right down the bottom to expand (click on arrow before the) unit_submarine than click on the the unit_submarine that shows up after expanding than click on arrow in front of unit_ship (shown on he right hand side) to expand than arrow propulsion to expand than click on max_speed and change.
Go down a bit further and you'll see Ranges. Expand that and expand both submerged and surface and change the ranges in there.
