I'm getting completely random CTDs and I've tried about everything. Is there some secret to getting things to run stable?
I'm running SH4 with the mods on w7 64 bit (steam)
I've tried:
4gb memory patch for the executable
compatibility mod for windows xp sp2
verifying cache and reinstalling
defraging
Any help or insight would be appreciated

The crashes are pretty random, i think i remember crashing oncewhile on the hydrophone.
The only pattern ive seen is that i get them more often west of the western approaches, iceland, and mid atlantic.

If "random CTDs" occurs only when submerged, try my mod, "New Submarine School."
tried the mod, it makes the sound overload as soon as I load outside port.
It also breaks the torpedo selection screen.
Can I just drop the submarine school and go with the sonarfix, eaxsoundsim, and om ship renewal?

Also the fix you have did something to a convoy I found in the Bay of Biscay. Over half the ships where severely damaged. I was like like, "cool, they were hit from an air raid" but then a bunch of them started to sink on their own and explode. I read that you messed with the volatility of cargo ships so maybe that made them take damage from a little waves?
I also got a ctd just from listening to them through the hydrophone

Hi, I just put Operation Monsun back on, works fine. I tend to start with one mod at time when crashes incure to try and work it out.
Have read the readme's and taken note of the intallation order, these two mods work fine with me. You have to do a complete re-install.
