View Full Version : A question for Trevally

For several months now I've been using almost all of your great automation tutorials without problem until today. Now I find that when ever I open any historical mission with or without having first selected a Trevally Automated tutorial from the OPTIONS page an automation tutorial always appears open when the game opens the selected historical mission.

As soon as the tutorial appears I first close the active tutorial and then close the automation selection GUI. So far so good but now whenever I try to surface or submerge by any method the simulation hard freezes and the following error message appears;

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!
Programs: N|Silent Hunter 5\sh5.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.
(I think we all know what the results of this last suggestion will be.)

Any help or suggestion would be most appreciated!

Please accept my thanks in advance.

EDIT 13JAN12

In relation to the problem described above in this post I have just discovered the following in TDW v6.7.0 REINSTALL AND CHANGES;

- Added a new command button to Automation's commands: save started currently activated scripts. When pressed it will save the started currently activated scripts to file. Upon game start it will read this file this file and if any previously activated scripts are found it will automatically start them.

Although I don't profess to completely understand this information or know what to do with it I do feel that it is related to my problem. If anyone, prehaps TDW, could shed some light on it or how to apply it to my problem they would be enshrined in my pantheon of heros!
